Here's the pic you requested. The slight warpage you see is due to the fact that I used a piece of scrap which wasnt dead flat to begin with. * James

Edit: I no longer have the pic or sample this post refers to. If you really want to see let me know & I'll make a new one & post a pic

Here's a pic showing the rear panel with cutout for the air scoop. I will likely increase the size of the cutout on production models. *Pardon the clamp at the bottom, the panels are only mocked up. Once I finalize the design I will have a price for those of you that are interested. As always comments are welcome & I would be interested in hearing what you guys think a fair price is for the panels. Thanks & have a good day. * *James

ps: I'm still waiting on the manufacturer to send me a replacement die for my bender. But I hope to be making tree bars [nerf bars] & bumpers *
* * *soon.

Edit: I will post a pic of the updated version further on in this thread

Update.

I should have the revised rear side panels done soon. I'm still playing around with the exact size & shape of the cutout.

I'm working on several different designs for the number plates. I will be offering vinyl numbers in white, black, red
green, blue, yellow, as well as carbon fiber look & holographic skull & crossed bones. Other colors will be available
as a special order. My vinyl guy can always do custom work if you have a special request.

My supplier dropped the ball on getting my replacement die so nerf bars & bumpers are still on hold. They now claim
the die is on the way. Hopefully I will have something to show you guys soon.

Have a *good one * *
James

I need volunteers! In the not too distant future I would like to begin producing parts for the pilot but I need one to pattern off of. So if you are in southern california, preferably within 100 miles of Big Bear & would be willing to let me pattern off your car please contact me for details at RL Motorsportsracing at yahoo dot com. In return I can offer you steeply discounted parts or in the case of small, simple items like number plates you'll get them free. *A little further down the road I will need a 350 odyssey. Mine has a slightly bent cage so I can't pattern some parts off it. *It should go without saying but I'll mention it anyway. *YOUR CAR MUST BE STRAIGHT. I've been wanting to go to some of the local races in hopes of finding a volunteer but between my day job & doing this on the side I've been to busy so far. Thanks to all of you that have followed this thread. Have a goood one.
James

Edit: I now have a straight cage on my odyssey so I'm only looking for volunteers with other vehicles. Thanks

Thanks K-fab. Here's a pic showing the revised rear panels. I increased the area of the cutout by 50%.

My *1 1/4" die finally showed up. I got a little done on the prototype nerf bars. They are about half done. Ill post pics when I get them done. Bumpers will follow along with some more aluminum. Pilot parts are on the horizon.

I wasn't going to post pics of the nerf bars till they were done. But I won't be able to get *back to them for a few days so here's some pics of the prototypes so far. As always feedback is welcome. James
