Default mini mini rail?

Ok the game plan is to build a mini for the boy, he is 12 years old and been riding for the past eight years. He is now rides a z-400 bored out to 470 but I would like to get him into a rail (yes he knows how to go fast). I have seen some smaller rails on hear and I would like to get it into the back of the truck. I do have some motors lying around and was thinking of using an fzr600. My boy is into helping me on it but he wounds like 16” of travel on it and don’t get it that is not going to happen! idles?

Here's what I'd build. *It's possibly a little bigger than what you want but I'm sure there are ways to shorten it up a little. *It would also fit Dad if he ever wanted to drive it *

That’s a little big for what I’m looking for, I’m looking at doing something like my car but smaller. Can you get a JR size seat? Still don’t know what motor I am going to use yet but it think I would like it to be a auto but still have enough power. I think my boy can shift but it would be easer for him with gas and break only

Don’t know much you all are into atv’s but this is my though, I have a Suzuki z-400 that is bored out to 470. This bike has a electric start and a reverse single exhaust pipe. Do you think this will work in a small rail? The rail that I’m looking building will be about the size of a pilot. Now for the z-400 I have a Yamaha 600 to put into it? Just a though.
