Well I am getting down to the short list now. I got the exhaust finished after the arrival of my new slip on can. I managed to get the dash fabbed and installed with the guage cluster. I got the headlights wired and hard mounted. I kind of blew my schedule of having this thing running by the end of our long weekend when I found that my CDI box was fried. Thank God for E Bay!!!!

Wolf and Gene, you know I've poked a lot of fun at Gene about the fix and break but I know exactly how you both feel. Been there, hated it. It's gonna feel really nice the first time you go out and have no problems. It was for me at least.Good luck to the both of you!

OK I know I haven't posted for a while so here goes. The CDI was not the problem it was actually the start circuit relay so I got that sorted and the beast breathed fire for the first time. Today was actually test drive day and all went fairly well. I am off to the shop tonight to refab my shift linkage as the other one sheared in half. Anyways here are the latest photos and a short video of the first test run.

Well Gene, looks like you passed the curse on to me. For the last week it has been test and break, test and break. I think I finally got all the bugs worked out as it went for a good run today and had no problems. Well 1 buggy down, 1 more to go (but this one's mine)
