The buggy looks good.

Front end - single arm, correct?

Can I borrow the front end loader? *Need to put jumps on the new track...

Thanks KFab. *Yes it is single a-arm which doesn't thrill me but hey it's a start. *As you can see I have access to my track making equipment, as well as any material I may need.

Looks GREAT! *I also have a set of Piranha plans that I bought about 4 years ago. *I'll FINALLY start to build mine soon.

One questions, how do you fit in it? *I am 6'3" and am gettin a little worried that it might be too small for me. *I just visited the Edge site and seen that they had a new buggy out for larger guys. *Now I'm not sure if I want to start on this one or buy the other set of plans. *I think the Piranha will be a little cheaper to build though.

I'm 6'2" and with a suspension seat, the baracuda is a tight fit for me. (It is still comfortable though, and I have enough room to steer, shift, reach the dash, etc.) If you use a smaller, lower, and more upright seat you could get away with a smaller buggy

I am actually building 2 of them and the one pictured has the most progress. *It is for a buddy of mine and he is 6'2" and about 230lbs so he is rather large (compared to me). *When building I strayed from the plans a bit and added 4" to the cockpit and 2" to the engine bay to accommodate both the larger driver and the larger motor. *I just received the seat yesterday and once I get some time I will begin the mounting process. *I did not heighten the rollbars but I think there will be more than enough room for a helmeted driver to be comfortable in the cockpit.

Finally got my donor bike and had a chance to tear it down. *I got the seat, cover and harness all mounted as well as the steering wheel. *The tail tank is now complete with all fittings and pressure tested. *Progress has been slow but now with the snow finally melting I am getting the motivation to "get her done"!Enjoy, all comments are welcome.

Well got the powerplant stuffed into the machine. *I made all the mounts removable so engine changeouts shouldn't be a problem. *Got the rad mounted, I am using the stock rad from the bike just had to turn the fan mounts around for proper placement. *Got the shifter mounted and a firewall fabbed and mounted. *I am just waiting on my clutch and throttle cable and a my exhaust parts to continue on. *Notice I am procrastinating on the electrical......I really do hate electrical. * Anyways enjoy and all comments are welcome.

WOOHOO we're on the home stretch now. I've been putting in some long hours in a push to have the beast running by the first week of July. Shown are some Hella driving lights I picked up off Ebay as well as some stock R1 mirrors. Some how my bonnet bars worked out wider than the plans call for so I had to rework the bonnet a bit to make it fit. The shiter, throttle and clutch cables are all mounted as well as a choke cable. As you may notice the shifter is mounted on the right hand side as it feels more natural. All I need now is the muffler, dash, idler sprocket, and tackle the electrical. Enjoy and all comments are welcome.
