Default Re: Wolf's Piranha's

Finally got some parts starting to roll in this week and I am trying to install them as they come so I can make some headway on this thing. *So far I got my master cylinders, front brake rotors, rear FOX Shocks, and misalignment spacers all from Doug. *I also got my front hubs but haven't installed the rotors to them yet as I am waiting on the front calipers. *Got the steering all sorted and the pedal boxes installed as well as the rear shocks.

To answer your question Jet Tech, Looking for something in the 1000cc range. *I am leaning more towards an RC51 or a Yamaha R1 *but it's a case of what ever I can find the closest and in the best condition.

Thanks for the comment dirt. *I know what you mean, parts availability up here is terrible. *Everything has to be ordered in and that takes a lot of time. *I have been at this project now for over a year and this is as far as I have come.

Well for those who have asked and those that are wondering, I finally sourced my engine today. *I picked up a 2000 Yamaha R1 for $2800 for the complete bike. *The only problem is that it is 2 provinces away and I have a bit of a wait to get it here and start tearing it down. *Here's a couple pics of the beast.

what are you doing for rear axles,as the pto drivelines in the plans are garbage or maybe *they revised them,I will need to redo those on mine .the r1 should be some good axle twisting power

It's finally a rolling chassis. *Finally got the Douglas red labels and the Kenda tires this week and got them mounted up so I had to snap a few pics. *I also started fabbing the rear tail tank. *Dirt I am goin with a cv rear designed by Rick S and fabricated by Doug H. *I wasn't all that fond of the ag unis either.

Got a few more little bits done last night. *Got the floorpan installed, front bash plate installed, tail tank tacked and fitted, rear axles packed and installed, and the rear shocks assembled and set up.

And this is my little buggy compared to 3 BIG ones!!!!
