Yes in a standard bug box you can flip it easy thats
why I was saying a sportsman or play version I could do a mid
endine as I will be running a bug tranny.

But I run a bus box and it cannot be flipped
over in the race car.

Also I already run longer rear arms and I slide my motor and tranny
back to be inline with them. Plus the fuel cell goes over and infront of
the tranny so slideing it back helps alot.
The Rear Arms are 24 inches long from pivot to rear carrier
I am currently really close to maxing out my cv's as it is.
I can go more compression and get around 22 inches of wheel travel but with the 30 inch tires I would hit ground at 19 inches of that compression.
So the extra 3 inches does me no good.

At work I have set up a car with 48 inch long arms and 934 CV's
and it only gets 26 inches of travel only 4 more inches than me
for about a cost of 4,000 dollars more than my set up by they time
you build and buy all the cvs, axles, micro stubs etc.

So I have set my car up at 18 inches of wheel travel stopping myself
very close to the ground as it is and yes I can actually hit if I am
not careful.
My Bypass shocks pretty much slow me down to a snails pace
at around 14 inches into my travel so I havent hit the ground
really yet... rocks have jumped up and got me though.

I hear you on the front A-arms I have set up seveal of these arms
and I get 24 inches of wheel travel on a 33 inch tire using the smaller
a-arms I would use in my car.
So again with a 30 inch tire though I would be lowering it to more
like 21 inches or stepping up to a 33 tire... which looks really funny
on this small of a car when you can stand in between the front
and back tire and actually reach down and touch them when the 33 tires are on.

Looks like a monster truck buggy.
Weird.

Later I will do a longer wheel base, A-arm buggy for racing.
Some time in the future.
24 inches at all wheels.
Someday.

I already achieve these numbers at work so its just a matter of
me reproduceing it with the correct tires, shocks, cv's etc.
But that would mean making a bigger car again not a mini buggy.

Also I do all this with CV's that dont exceed more than 20 degrees of wheel angle.
I could step up to some much better axles etc but again just wount help
me without larger tires ground clearance etc.
I can only use so much on such a small car.

If I went back to a bigger car I could do alot more as we do at
work we have a car thats pushing 32 inches in the front and 36 in the
rear.
But the car weighs over 4,000 pounds and has 40 inch tires.

If I want to stay small I have to find a balance and set my
suspension up smaller.

Anyways sorry for going on I just had alot in my head to get out.
Thanks if you read this far.
