We spent most of the day on sunday working on it but didn't get a lot done. *Some days are more productive than others. *If I had it to do over again I would have forced myself to do a complete 3d model. *It seems like we spent half the day figuring out what we were going to build instead of actually building it. *There is still some triangulation missing in the tubes we added, hopefully next weekend we'l have some real progress to report. *I also got my front hubs and rear micro stub kit from RBP Manufacturing, so I need to get going on drawing the suspension.

We worked all day today and got a lot done. *We got rid of the mitered hoop at the pedal box and replaced it with one tube bent in three places which took a while to fit. *We sanded flat on two angles so it would fit nicely on the fron shock tower and gusset. *We also got the main cage tacked up, and realized we can move the seat back, which will free up some room for the pedal box.

So we worked on the car all of sunday. *We got the main cage welded out, except for some triangulation and gusseting. *when it finally cooled, the warp was 1/8" at the top most bar, the floor and bulkhead didn't move at all. *we also started to reposition the seat. *I've finished designing the rear suspension kinematics but now need to wrap it around the gearbox, thats this weeks homework.

I think we will make our own pedal assembly, but use the tilton remote mount master cylinder set. *Does anyone have an opinion of cable vs. hydraulic actuated clutch? *is hydraulic worth the extra $$$?

So its been a long time since I posted any pictures. *We have gotten the rear bulkhead parts back from the laser cutters and welded it out. *We have welded it to the rear and mounted the motor. *We have built new headers and started on the wireing. *We succesfully welded the case as well. *this weekend we are going to install the control cables.

all of the A-arms and jigs are out to qute with the laser cutters, so they should be all mounted up in a few weeks. *The rear suspension has about 30% anti squat with about 4in. of wheel recession. *Both arms are at the same angle as the front lower. *I kept the plunge to less than .5 in. but I need about 40 degrees of cv articulation so I'm going to try non plunging cv's with 930 pattern and a regular coated splined slip joint. *I'm hopeing since I have little plunge I wont need ball splines, but if stiction is governing the axial force then ?
