Nice work Richard. Very inspiring to see such high standards, attention to detail and willingness to take time - a limiting factor for many.

Probably should buy two and have one for a back up at the pits. It would really suck to have to finish a race with no power steering...again.

BTW, I'm jealous. Car looks killer.

Then he saw it - Satin Sweet Pea. I was screwed.

So, as you can see, in honor of stetler and the relentless "paint it pink" comments from me, I guess Karma's decided to catch up with me and bite me in the arse.

I asked for paint, I got paint, I used said paint.

On second thought, perhaps the car was just protesting about the pink pump?

Did you do something to restrict flow, causing over pressure?
Was the housing cracked and you didnt notice it?
I would find out what the problem is/was before bolting on another one.(not that you didnt know that)
Looking good.
Looks really "tuff" with the heavy duty suspension.

Looks Killer as per your usual standard, are you going to leave the trailing arms raw for easy inspection?

Nick.

Take pump apart, weld up flange, re-machine groove, re-assemble. Oh yeah, remove pink paint.........

Will try to get some. I've had two people tell me that it's weld and cut to fix it now. Probably what I'll do - or make a billet body? We'll see.

Headed to the shop in a bit - been out of town playing in the woods (Briggs car works very well and the Husaberg is by far the most impressive off road bike I've ever had the pleasure to throw a leg over), so I'm sitting here trying to catch up on what I missed.
