We'll be using Gear One four piston calipers.

The mounting flange between the rotor and the cv cups is a custom made piece - as are the cv cups.

I'm not sure what the rotors are from. *I don't think the rotors have been modified.

The flange fits into the rotor and has six locating nubs that fit into the clearance channels for bolt heads. * The flange also has six "feet" that fit into cutouts in the cv flanges. *The CV's fit over the top of the "feet" and hold them into the flange.

I'll try to get some pix of the separate pieces and the rotor info for you this week.

Ah! The custom CV flanges and cups are the secret to the assembly. I wondered if you had just found a nice disc that lent itself to being modified to fit around "standard" CV flanges. Nothing's ever that simple.

I do like the idea of vented inboard discs even if they aren't out in the air stream. Inboard discs can get scary hot.

Gotta leave the wonderful weather of Phoenix on Thursday morning. *Damn.

Went riding this morning with Jay and James out at Sycamore Creek - north of Fountain Hills - great place! *Offers a bit of everything - whoops, sandy washes, rocky uphills, smooth trails. *We had a blast.

Hope to get back out in the Dez this week and do more testing - gotta replace the rear bearing carrier, bearings and maybe the disc. *Blew it out yesterday testing.

I have the same disks, they are from shifter karts. On EBAY

As they add says, they can be had in plain, slotted or drilled.

Those are not the same rotors. *I asked Neil today - he said they're off some European front wheel drive car - a small one, I'm guessing. *He wasn't sharing info...

Thanks anyway. I understand some things have to remain secrets!

Well - today was the last day that I get to work on the Dez II. *Heading back to Ohio (cold crap) tomorrow.

I think most of the stuff that needed to be ordered is either in or on order now.

Fuel tank went off to Fuel Safe yesterday.

Revolution Racing shocks - 3.0's on back, 2.5's up front, all 12" stroke have been ordered.

Now it's small stuff that has to be done - mounts, tabs, bodywork - list is still long, but getting shorter.
