Very nice K-fab. And as always great explanation and pics. When do you think it will be complete? Tim

Yeah when I say attention to detail I mean things like a clean looking wire install-shrink wrap-wire/fuse blocks- wire looms! I'm useing a 7 fuse Painless wireing kit! I think minibuggy builders are better designer's, because we have to squeeze every bit of suspension travel out of our designs! We don't have a 450hp LS-1 to push whatever Xtra weight we add when we put bigger shocks and longer "A"/"J" arms.

Swap the intrecom and GPS spots. You shouldn't be looking at the GPS and your codawg shouldn't have to look that far away from the road. Really makes them motion sick in a hurry. Also seperate pumpers is nice, cuase after they chowder in there helmet the smell well come through if your on a single pumper.........

LOL bdkw1. Last time we raced at Caliente we let one of the volunteer pit crew ride as navigator for his first time. At breakfast that morning he had a HUGE meal of fried eggs, meat, biscuits and gravy, and then he wolfed down one of the other guys left over pancakes for good measure. He started ralphing about 15 miles into a 60 mile lap. Then when we switched co-drivers the only helmet that fit his replacement driver was the one he was wearing. The new co-driver bucked up and put that helmet on barf and all. That event is now one of those racing trip stories that never dies in our camp. LOL Tim

Good info - thanks bd.

Fortunately my co-dog has a cast iron stomach...

I got info from SCORE tech on a bar that goes in front of the fuel tank today, so now we can finish the tank's container and get it off to Fuel Safe - bladder time.

I ordered the 6 switch Painless w/push button start. It's the one that has the circuit breakers on the panel - I'll probably end up getting rid of the panel and just using the switches & breakers and installing them directly into the dash like I did on the last car.

I need to find some 3" diam lights - would like to get stalk mounted LED style - anyone know of a good source??? I need two tail/brake lites (red) and one amber. I'd like to find a 55w halogen amber instead of LED. They must be DOT approved.

We're still trying to get info on some different shocks - need to find someone that's running the Revolutions that's not a paid spokesman for the product.

Got the radiator & oil cooler installed today and took some pix of the flywheel and drive clutch adaptor.

BD - switched the radio and GPS

Working on the brakes now - dual rear rotors.

Had to test fit the clutches to make sure everything clears.

That passenger footrest is cool. (so is everthing else!)

Do you have a dead pedal and a pic of it?

The passenger's footrest is one of James' things. *He makes some pretty trick items.

Yes - there's a dead pedal. *We spent most of one afternoon getting the pedals and the foot rests designed and installed - I drove poor James nuts too... *(I won)... *[smilie=evilgrin.gif]

I have everything set up so I can slide my feet from one pedal to the other w/o getting anything caught. *I can't catch my left foot behind either the dead pedal or the throttle pedal either.

I use both feet when driving - left does the braking (yet I can't do it in a street car - go figure...) right does the go pedal. *It's not uncommon to be on the brakes and the throttle at the same time.

Can you divulge the source of the discs, have they been modified, how they're attached and what callipers you'll be using?
