Default single seater rail

This rail is going to Saudi arabia, it's getting a 600cc powerplant and is the last rail i'm building with anything this small for a motor. I have the 31 inch paddle tires on the rear and the panels in these pics. Those won't be on the rail. It will have no panels and 26 inch tall paddles but I don't have the adaptor plates made for the other wheels yet. This is basically what the single seater plus looks like with the busa powerplant. I run these wheels with any busa powered rail.

The gussets are not in the trailing arm yet, there are also some big triangle gussets on the lower a-arm for bracing...

I have another single seater frame built as well for a customer in Arizona. He is buying a starter package with a busa powerplant..

This is the new single seater design. It is wider in the front and back, has about 4 inches more length in the cockpit, has 5 inches more head clearance, and a few more gussets. The trailing arms are almost identical to the 2 seater trailing arms as are the a-arms...

The top pic is the single seat frame going to the Arizona customer, I posted a pic to show you the new floor design which isn't in the other one yet. The tracks aren't welded up yet but the pedals have about 12 inches adjustabality with the loosening of 2 alan socket cap bolts...

Here are a few pics of the prototype center drive carrier we're building for the sprocket drive rails, this thing is hardcore, maybe a bit much but that's how I like it. It's 5.5" diameter and over a 1/4" thick for the case, the internals are billet pieces that we are machining with the hole to be off center so you tighten the chain up just like a quad, no tensioner. The inside is machined down to cut a bit of weight but left it thick in 2 places where the frame tubes will weld to on the outside. I bought a stick of 1.25 inch spline and some 2.5 inch diameter sleeves. Were gonna weld a 4.5" plate to 1 side that is flat for the u-joint to bolt to, the other side will be 5.5 diameter plate attached to a sleeve that slides over the splined shaft for the other u-joint and the custom sprocket ring were custom making to attach to it. The bearings have a 1.5 inch id, a 3.5 inch od and are just under and inch thick, they are freakin massive.

There is a slot down the middlle to clamp the housing around the internals. We left it connected in 3 places for welding so it doesn't warp it. After it's cooled down, well cut those pieces out with a grinder, then weld 3 hollow tubes over the groove, one on top and one on bottom, for the three bolts that tighten the assembly down..

Center carrier looks like it is going to be sweet. Will the brake rotor still be on the center drive, or are you going to put the brakes out at the wheels. If on the center drive will you need to make the caliper mount adjustable also, for the cam style adjustment ?

Where can I find specs on this single seat buggy? I love how you have the low profile cage. You must lay the seat back or something to get that look.

Thanks
Mike
