Hey, I said maybe... Come up with some killer, light boxed uppers and we'll talk.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with for lowers.

hmmm very interesting I can not wait to see you get started on this project and see what all this changes will do to the vehicle. I know they will be great as you do outstanding work.
Always top notch and well done.

Please keep us updated and as always tons of pics really help us understand so thanks for posting those in all your topics.

Well very cool. So what do you think wheel base and size is going to be?
110" and 13.5 long? Something along those lines?

I wait and look forward to seeing your work as always.

Overall footprint is still quite the mystery to me. I can "see" the suspension, but thus far, that's about it.

I don't want to get any wider than the Dez is already. I'm not sure what that is, though - need to pull out the tape measure.

Travel - I can easily get an honest 20" w/o having issues. For the size of the car, that's probably more than enough.

I found a box of stuff that I'd made a while back today. I didn't realize just how far I'd gotten on the car before I quit working on it. I'm about 90% complete on having the front spindles (axles) and hubs done. Still need to do the spindle bodies, though.

My ACAD work's rusty - that's going to take a bit to get back in the swing of things. I also modeled up a bunch of stuff in what ever the modeling program made by the ACAD people is - need to mess with that some more too. It never ends!

I just read all 14 pages of this thread...WOW! In another life I used to work on high end hot rod stuff, pain in the ass trailer queens (...and their cars!) AMBR cars and misc magazine stuff, but your machine work is better than I'd seen in those circles. Some can make it pretty, some can make it functional, rarely both, and rarely to that extent. I hope you restart this project, a lot can be learned from the execution. From a race car, to an extreme play car! Beautiful work

Thanks for the compliments!

Don't worry - I WILL be starting on this project once the Dez is done. The only other delay (which will affect the Dez too) is that I'll be out of town next week. Once I'm back, it'll be get the Dez finished and start making a new machine.
