It's not tube, it's plate. The sides will be .125 4130 with .065 overlays that run about half it's length. It will be more than strong enough for a light car like this. They will be stronger than the ones I built for Toyota #3 years ago....... Shock mounts are .5 below center, I've done many like this and never had a problem.
Ask K-fab how thick the material on the top arms on the Briggs cars is. They're probably single wall .065.......... |
