Well that is where the car sits today; she will be off her jig this weekend and flipped. I am just waiting on the rest of my laser parts to come in. This was copied from over at glamisdunes; its nice to have the holidays over; now I can get motivated again.

I like what I see so far, can't wait to see more. I've noticed a lot of great ideas in the posts from different builders/owners. Which has got me thinking of looking into changes on mine or selling and starting over. I really like how your front a arms are mounting. Mounting point is narrow in center of car vs outside on mine. I have very steep angles on my rod ends. Looks like you will have long a-arms and less stress on the rod ends. Of course all this comes viewable after I purchased my frame. I didn't feel comfortable trying to make my own frame. But we will see what happens on the choices I make now.

It all depends on what you are looking for. It is a lot easier to get a lot of travel out of center mounted arms just because of the overall arm length. You have to remember that your "true" arm length is 90* from your arms to your outside pivot.

I will have updates on the car this weekend; finished most of the front and all the mounts, just waiting on my laser cutter now for the rear jig so I can mount all my tabs. I just got my radiator in today; custom made with -16 an fittings.

Well I ran out of the tubing I needed yesterday so I didn't get much progess on it today. Finished up most of the front of the car; I have to get the right bushings tomorrow so I can finish up the lower arm pivots and off the jig it comes. I have to pick up u-joints for the steering so I can set the upper pivots where they will go. I added the removable rear X today.... After I get the tubing tomorrow the X will be removed and some real tubing will be used; although I like the tape; makes it much easier to move around back there.

Well took a few pictures this morning, been really busy with work and haven't had to much time to work on the car. I got the rear diff in, but I am changing out the plates and location to get it lower in the frame. The chain will only stick below the chassis 5/8" and with the skid plate I'm building it will never come in conflict with anything and still be able to get 19" of travel and keep the rear track width at 84". Also there is a shot of my jig to put my trailing arm tabs on, it bolts on to where the heims go and will set my tabs at the right angle. I was planning on running a spun aluminum tank but ditched that idea for a fuel cell with foam; this will be placed above the diff to keep the weight over the wheels. The new intake should be here sometime next week and the wiring should be back in about a week or so. Got the rack adapter done and bolted up the rack, should be working on or finishing up the steering this weekend. The rear X will be finished today. I am waiting on my tabs for the light rack, still trying to figure out where that will go; probably going to set it in the rear, that way they can fold back and hopefully not come in conflict with the ground if it where to roll. Also I threw a picture of the rear of the car at full bump......if it I where to run a 37" tire.....
