The oil cooler on the R1 is an heat exchanger the coolant from the radiator run through it to cool the oil.
you could replace it with a piece like this one and run trough a separate oil cooler.

Beruba who makes that? Maybe i'm looking up the wrong key words but i'm not finding something like that. I got the plumbing done i believe but its now leaking coolant into the oil..... I believe its through the cooler so I'm replacing the O-rings on the oil cooler and this should fix the issue. Also got the fuel level and oil level lights wired up.

well I have coolant coming from the oil drain plug.... After doing some research I've come to the conclusion of the water pump seals (all internal to the case) its common for them to go bad after sitting for some time. Hopefully this weekend i'll get it torn apart and get all the seals on order

I also recieved another pedal setup yesterday, 35$ shipped i'll be using just 1 for my clutch pedal as the brake is already setup. The shifter is about done as well I just need to weld my brackets in and I think it will work. I'll be using a cable setup rather than a linkage setup that i've been seeing others use.
