Default Desert Kart Build

Hello. This is my first thread. Just letting people see my project. This is a desert kart design with some influence from another design. Im running an '01 honda cbr 929. Im using a spun aluminum fuel tank and i was wondering if some one could tell me what kind of fuel pump i should run. I was thinking about taking the tank to the local machine shop to have them install the stock in tank fuel pump. Not sure yet though.

Looks nice so far. I am guessing its a "Sinister" panther?? Lol :]

Having the pump installed into the stock tank would be the best looking and cleanest install. A good shop should be able to do it beautifully for not to much loot especially if the tank is new and has not had gas in it. Even if it has it should not be much harder.

Another option may be to simply run a largish fuel line from the tank to a small reservoir the pump mounts in/on.

I dont know what most people use but your local auto zone or similar parts store carry pumps. I would think you could run a Holley Blue and run a regulator to adjust pressure. That is prolly the cheapest route for about 100 bucks.

It looks really great!
A very nice build with very good technical aspects!

But watch out! Be sure that you make your chassis way stronger than it is now, because it will bend like it's nothing when you're gonna drive with it.

Have fun, good luck and keep us posted!
