OK, I got the holes punched through the fender wells , need to open em up a bit still but I started to mock up the shock mount and I have a problem, why does the tab hit the shock body here, I don't see why they made the dam thing so close? Anybody got ideas how to fix this? Can I use bigger shims or something? These are what they came with, It seems like if the shock twists or anything it will hit it real bad??? What gives??

Well, I got the shock mount installed, still need a bunch of gusseting, but I think this is the basic design, just need to copy it over to the other side now. Should be pretty good design, I will do a bar across to the other side and then one on each side going down to the torsion tube, should be pretty good. MAN, I forgot how much of a BITCH it is welding inside a cab!! OY.!

The shocks should have come with two shock spacers... they are about 1/2 wide with a half inch hole.. you put those on before mounting your tabs or yes they will hit.. I also put a washer on each side of those to space my tabs out just a hair more.
I can take pics, etc. if you need. to see or did you get it figured out.. I was a little late on posting.. sorry.

*edit
Ohhh looks like they are welded in so you must have figured it out.. cool.

Yeah I got it, I would have liked to know the washer trick, I almost did that but was afraid to space them apart too much.. oh well...

Got a bit more done tonight, didn't want to work too late since I'm going to the SAND SPORT SHOW tomorrow!! Its cool though, it has a bit more downtravel than the CV's can take right now and a bit more up travel than the tires allow before bottoming out and I still have 18"!!

Thanks! they do, but it will be able to use the whole thing when I get the taller rear paddles, going to go 33's after these wear out and then I will raise my bump stops a couple inches to get me to 20" travel with no bottoming out!
