I know this is a mute point at this time, but could you run a stand alone ignition system and a carb with one of these motors? I am 32, but on the, "trailing-edge" of technology when it comes to off road. Sorry you didn't make it out this weekend, at least it's only the beginning of the season!

Possibly, but it would be more difficult than just learning the EFI stuff, its really not that difficult, I just got an odd ball ecu, I will have very little to do when it comes time to program it, since I did not change much as far as performance stuff goes...

Oh man that is a bummer.. I really hate when you do everything and then a company or store fails you. Dang.. what a let down.. sorry bud... well take the time to check over everything one more time, tighten everything and check things twice just to make sure your next trip will go perfectly.

Good luck and again sorry to hear of the bad news.

Finally got out of my depression for not getting this thing done for Halloween, and got some more stuff done. I could have gotten all this done before the weekend, but when the computer glitch hit me I just gave up. Here is the driver side lmit strap, hopefully the single will be strong enough, I guess I can get doubles if I need to later... Oh, and what do you think of my spare mount will it hold?? LOL!

That should be good for any water crossings you have to make.

Nick.

Got the straps both done, built the exhaust and plumbed the rear brakes, I just need an EFFIN computer that will work now!
