I certainly HOPE so! I am trying my best, I just need the cable to show up today so I can flash out the VATS theft system, and kill all the check engine codes from cutting the harness apart, so it will start!

WELL! I got an email this AM (after trying to read the PCM last night to no avail) saying that my particular PCM has a different operating system than most they have seen and I am FU**ED until they get it sorted out, which they say will take 17-22 days!! DAM! I dam near killed myself for this???!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I really gave it my best shot and WOULD have made it if they didn't advertise something that they don't have! They should not make the customer suffer cuz they don't want to do the footwork to check all the different operating systems. I am thinking, if I can find a computer out of a more common car like the cavalier, I can just use that one in place of my Olds ALero computer, I checked the pinouts of the connectors and they are the same!

Nope!
 No clue what year it is. Crated 2.2 Ecotec that I got from ATVR. He purchased something like 24 of them when he started putting them in the Tazcars. The wire harness is a stand alone setup - comes complete w/computer. Truly plug and play. I was impressed - it's NEVER that easy, but it was!  I think it's from Redline, but once again it's my typical "Hey Neil, I need everything to make the Ecotec run. Send it to me please." Box shows up, I put stuff on, things work and I've not paid one bit of attention to what or who made it.
