And people wonder why custom stuff costs so much! It's amazing just how much time you can spend trying to get something that looks quite simple done.

Deranged's CBR 100 is crated and all ready to go.

I need to contact Dune to get the PowerCommander CD and info. Other than that it is a full turnkey deal. Engine, pipe, harness, gauge cluster and PowerCommander.

Crate is huge and weighs about 300. Only going to cost $80 to ship using Yellow Freight.

early Christmas present,,,cool.

Wow, that is cheap shipping.
I think I paid close to $200 for shipping motors to & from Oregon.
weight was 230lbs
That was thru ESTES.
Actually I think shipping was $125ish and the rest was insurance

SWEEET, that looks good and secure!! I can't wait. I got a little work done after the trick-or-treaters were done, and it was just too nice out today so we went dirt biking this afternoon. Hey Jody, are you going to be around on Friday of this week?? and thanks for the compliment n8tball. N8, are you building the shotgun with the roof lowered?? If thats you, do you have a good side shot I could see?? Thanks!

I should be around on Friday,,,,I am almost always here.

I have one of our 2 seaters in the shop until, maybe Thursday,,I think.
If you wanted to swing out earlier in the week, it would still be here.

Either way, your welcome to swing out when ever, just let me know what works for you.

There are some profile shots in my build log (N8ball's Shotgun II), but I do have some minor updates, not pictured. I'm heading to the shop tonight so I'll snap a couple and get 'em up before too long.

I am placing an order to Kludge for my front uprights, front spindles, hi-mis spacers, and the 27 spline to 930 cv stub. One of the options is for a 4130 stub from McKenzie's, or one that he is going to machine using a stock s-10 stub, and welding the flange on, what are your thoughts. I have stock s-10 berings, so I would imagine the stock stub will work well. And should i heat treat the stubs??
ALSO, a question about the cv's, I saw some that were "shaved" down to acheve a 28* angle, would these be a wise choice due to material being "shaved" off, or should I just go with the standard 930? Thanks.

Justin.

LOL!!! That signature line is great! (and I feel your pain)

Not sure about that 28 degree claim. Where you start having issues when you over articulate is that it starts distorting the cage. Some of the "super cages" have the windows in them opened up a bit more, allowing for more ball movement.

I believe that in general 26 degrees from a 930 is pushing the limit - even with aftermarket cages. (I'll let you know soon enough. )

Yeah, I think I will stick with the 25* range, just to play it safe. I went over to Jody's (Protodie) shop and met with him yesterday. Great guy! Being new to the buggy scene, it was good to see one up close, and get a few pointers, and how some things are set up. Plus his 2-seater is pretty bad ass! I am going to make a list of parts I need, and order them through him. K, I just spent about an hour reading up on your build on your web page, VERY nice!
