I see one of my favorite toys in the background - is it a 250 or 450? Looks like an 08 model maybe? (by the decals on the rad shrouds)

LOL!!!
I started to take the bait and say "No, the 09's have white rear fenders." and then I realized what you were talking about.

You get points for that one!

I wonder if I can get a set of eyes like on the yellow top machine for my CRF? Those would look great on the front number plate.

Ah - 04. Gotcha. I was riding Yamaha at the time, so.... The rad shrouds look like the 08 from "here" (pic perspective) being black.

Yea, the valves (especially exhaust) were the weak link. I did my 05's top end at 70 hours and it never moved again after that. 35 hours on the 08 and not a problem yet. Great machines.

So I got one trailing arm jjjust about tacked together, and by the end of the day tomorrow I should have a set of trailing arms, and some pics. This weekend I will have the mid layer together.

Here are some pics. of the work today..one trailing arm. There is about 8 hours in that simple looking piece, but I think it turned out pretty well. The other pic is of the front a-arm jigs.
