Default ecotec build

Heres some shots of my build, I came up with this design on my own from other buggys and side by sides, I would like some input, good or bad, I used 1-1/4 dom 120 wall, this may be an over kill? It seems heavy and this is my first time building a frame this big? the tube was free so I used it for bracing also.

With an ecotechs torque to push it the 120 wall aint a bad thing. Might save your bacon if you ever crash it bad then it will be a VERY good thing. Specially if its (the tubing)FREE! Looks pretty good so far.

Here are some pics of the bracing, also the RPM gear box, and eng mounted. The motor mounts are adjustable, I can move the eng forward or backward and side to side about 1.5" . I will take some good shots of the motor mounts, this should help for cvt alignment.

Thanks Gene, thanks deviant.
Some photos of the motor mounts, please speak up or comment about the mounts?they will slide in any direction when loose, and to raise I would need to shim. I would use older chevy front end alignment shims, they come in all sorts of sizes or thickness. Neil at atv racing says to get the two shafts (drive flang shaft & RPM shaft) within 5 thousands in any direction, I have already played with the motor mounts and it seems to work well so far. also a shot of parts from Neil.

Very clever and functional on the range-of-adjustment on those mounts!

I like your mounts. I am almost ready to mount the engine in mine and may do something simular. Did you make them yourself?

I have never heard of double groove angle iron. Are you concerned about the engine sliding around after it is cinched down?
