What size is your jackshaft ? if it's around 1" I suggest to put a end plate other wise you will bend it. It happen to me.
You can brace the hoop in the front for more rigidity. Look good btw

Thanks buggito. Yes the jackshaft is 1" but there is only ―" from the bearing to the sprocket.. if it bends i will upgrade the shaft to a thicker one - and perhaps add additional support on the other side of the sprocket. anyway, thanks for the heads up! /Daniel |

Hey Daniel,
I'm wondering with my build... We both live in the metric part of the world.. For the front suspension, we need 4 greasable ROD END's with the size 5/8 (B02) The holes for these ROD's must be tapped in the tube adapter.(B06) But how is that in the Metric world? Could you find metrical ROD's or did you inch-tap the holes for these ROD's? I Hope that you know what I mean ![]() And keep on posting pic's! ![]() Erwin

i used M16 "heims" or "rodends" as some call them: ![]() and made the tube adapters: ![]() on the lathe myself. they don't need to be "fancy" like the ones in the picture. a piece of round bar that fits snugly inside the tube will do just fine... Cheers DAniel |

Yes!
I found some M16 Rod End's and Misalignment bushings, thanks! I bought them on www.mcgillmotorsports.co.uk (Powered by CubeCart) , a very good site with good prices! If you need some parts... But here I am with another question.. I hope that you could help me with that also ![]() I am searching for the 4 tube adapters (M16) and 24 bushings for the suspension arms. Did you make them yourselve or did you buy them somewhere on the Internet? If so, do you have a website for me? Thanks anyways.. Erwin

Hi Erwin
both tube adapters and bushings were made on the lathe. you should buy the bushings they ar really difficult to turn on a lathe! If i hadn't made my own i would have bought these Powerflex if i were you, i would turn the tubeadapters myself - it's really easy... BTW what pedals are you going withe and where can you buy them? Hey there Daniel,
Thanks again for your responce! I think that i'm gonna buy my pedals at Dan's Performance Parts. Number 01-16-2120. I hope that that is the one from the picture. With this, you need at least a Slave Cylinder for the clutch. I donīt know wich i will choose and donīt understand the type 1 and type 2 parts haha. Iīm going to buy my steering set there as well, where did you buy these? Good luck, Erwin
