Yeah there's gonna be a 100hp 583 Rotax in front of it. I thought about the RPM i just can't justify the cash. Once Pilots done with the trans i have some axle parts coming from a guy on the Ody board, so i should be able to get back on the horse and get this thing going. I also have a feeling i'm going to sell it once i'm done, these replacement parts are a friggin joke, i'd rather stick with my home builts. I can plan ahead and make my drivetrain out of cheaper auto parts instead of these ridiculously overpriced Pilot parts.
Who knows we'll see, i might have a whole new outlook once i hit the gas

Youll be lucky to make a 100 hp with the watercraft carb...

I haven't decided on a carb yet and the 100 hp is just a damn estimation, you don't have to analyze everything for christ sake.

sure we do.... its to bad you couldnt flip the final drive in the pilot box, you could turn the motor around and put the carbs out front, I dont see any way possible to put the rotary engine in there without the watercraft carb...You need any help let me know, You have managed to make me feel terrible over the pilot box....
we didnt make it to the dunes either, still having fuel problems, but 99% certain i have solved it...

Yes that Pilot box has caused me much grief and about to cost me a shit ton of money to fix. So far it's hard to tell whats gonna work, i need the trans back to mock up anything. If i remember correctly the stock carbs weren't a bad fit, i definately was tight it was the exhaust i was having problems with. the stock exhaust mani juts straight out, i'm going to have to pie cut it so it does a 90 degree turn down. I won't add or subtract any material though, i need to keep it the same length ofcourse.

You can run it without the 90 degree pwc carbs. You just need a 45 degree adapter for bigger units. They use them on the race motors for pwc. Dennis has them on his 670. They'll put the bigger sled carbs up and over the top of the pilot trans quite nicely. But I believe you have to go with a spun tank, since there's no room above the trans to build a tank then.

You should have room in front of and over the pull starter area to build a tank unless the engine is mounted High at least it worked out great with the 600 lots of room everywhere. Oh yea if I recall correctly there is a subaru axle shaft that fits the pilot box
