Definately get yourself some HID's.
I am running a pair of them on my Racing Pilot Downunder, and at the night races they are FAR superior to the QH's.More than double the lighting power/performance and only using bout a 1/3 the wattage(35W).I have had NO probs so far after bout 1 year of racing/rec driving. They also have the poly protective covers to save the lens's.Will not overtax your elect system/bat.Highly recomend them, even put some on the front of my Nissan 4by! ...Baz |

Can you run an HID without a battery though? I was under the impression from Trail Tech that on a stator only system, at low rpm's the output is not enough to keep the ballast lighting the gasses. Something you might wanna look into before plucking down the cash.. Or do some Pilots have a battery??
