Ok guys, I happened upon a frame sitting on saw horses in somebody's yard tonight. it is an absolutely bare frame with seat. It looks to me like it had double A-arm suspention. I don't know anything about these, so could somebody tell me what it is and what its worth. It was sanded down and never put back together. few little dings here and there, but didn't look to be twisted. I have a polaris scrambler engine and fnr box that I thought would go well in it.

after looking and looking at pics online, I am pretty confident that it is a pilot with the double A-arms on the front. Is the fl400 the only model like that? How much would this frame be worth? It does have the roll bars attached. seat frame and nothing else.

Does this look similar at all?
Pilot - does the cage bolt on? It will have two bolts at each mounting point. Pilots are double a-arm. No steering? Or is there any sort of a steering assembly? The steering shaft runs down through a support that's between your legs, near your knees. Down near your hips, where the lower rails turn and go in towards the middle of the chassis, on each side, is there a small mount that looks sort of like a box that is open on one end and then closes as it goes forward and meets the frame rail. There is a bolt that's about 5" long that will go through this box and then through the frame rail. If you can answer yes to any of these, it's more than likely a Pilot. It's probably worth 200-300 bucks
