Turbotexas if you read my post it states I use plug color to tune by. The EGT is an analog gauge type. It uses a thermocouple that drives the gauge.

I apologize for the mis read!!! Diving down the interstate and catching up on reading the forums is just at a glance so I missed the anolog... I would test the egt on something else if available, or bite the bullet and get a digitron... The grey plug color would worry me though???

No problem. Im not real happy with the gray either. As I stated I am getting a more exceptable brown now that I have changed the fuel pump (twice that is). Its odd that the first fuel pump passed the Honda test.

Steve I can not disagree with that. I currently have a single outlet rotax twin pump on it now. That will be more than enough. What it does not use it will return it to the tank.
