Default To part with, part out, or to put off...

I alluded to the condition of this beast in my first post (welcome area), and am now following up with more pictures.

My issue is this. *If you will notice, there are two brand new TRX400EX's (well, one 07, one 08) and one of them is mine. *I am torn between keeping the pilot or parting it out. *I would LOVE to keep it and work on it, but time/space/money is a concern.

Thoughts?

Scince most people wish too upgrade a pilots power and suspension I would sell it all (part it out for the best loot) except the tranny and the rear drive shafts and hubs.

With the money from selling all the parts get a Girard frame and use the tranny in behind a nice midsize sled engine or similiar and have at it.

BUT if you have time restraints you might not want to try to get into a buggy build. If you truly are tagged for time part it out completely and put the money to good use for your quads and other off road exploits. Bill

Are you using it for sand or desert? If you're playing in the sand I would keep it and fix it up since it doesn't look like it needs much other than what's obvious by the pictures which doesn't look like much in the way of cost. *If you're playing in the desert I would get rid of it and play with the quads since it's going to take a fair amount of cash to get it to work to what I would consider decent

keep the faith. I took a basket case to a daily driver. It just took two years. I also had fun doing it. The pilot was known a the devil pilot. The devil pilot had a history of never staying running and always breaking down. Last Id digits 666 no not the stolen one. I sure have a lot of fun driving with the drakarts and other pilots and odysses. *When ya et tired of it just park it for a while then start again. If you do decide to sell. Sell to the whole thing to some one who will resore it. Good luck and enjoy your 400's they sure look nice.
