Default Pilot vs Redline race results

Well the pilots did better then I thought they would do . I got first in my heat race and in the main my pilot is a 89 with ATV racings mild porting and pipe it has a powerbloc clutch and works shocks I had 22 inch fasttracker tires with 1600 ice screws . A Redline got 2nd my wifes 1990 Pilot with ATV racings pipe got 3rd my Fl350 with comet 102c clutch and step dad driving got 4th Redline got 5th and 6th. For the main Redline 2nd and 3rd *1990 Pilot 4th Redline 5th FL350 6th *One of the Redlines in the main spunout and the guy driving my wifes pilot slid into him so now i have to get right side rear fender and side panel . *The Redlines looked well built *I would like to compare one with a long travel pilot.

Sounds great! How did the acceleration of the Revolt compare to the Pilot? I'm hoping that they can justify the cost of the revolt with added performance.

The Redlines are not running all the races but they have talked about comeing back to race on the dirt. It seems like the Redlines were as fast as the Pilots of the line they just couldnt stay low in the corners with the pilot you can tap your rear break and really hug the inside line the Redlines just have one break pedal so they just seemed to push up on the corners I think 2 of them had sway bars to try and help some through the corners the one without really leaned but he didnt have it lowered like the first 2 he also was running like 30 inch car tires. When the first pulled up to the line with alot larger tires I was sure I would get killed in top end but I could catch the Redlines on the straights and pass one the inside of the corners it was alot of fun Im trying to get a copy of the video the track takes Ill try and post it.

Cool to hear this info on the Redlines - I really want to get my hands on one, do some mods and see just how well they can be made to work.

They need to drop the ride height and that will help dramatically *- especially on something smooth like ice.

If they'd put in a brake bias lever instead of the knob, they'd be able to use the rear brakes more effectively too.

The cars look good, I'm not bashing, just thinking out loud.

a *lot.... * *[smilie=banghead.gif]
