I bought a new throttle cable for my 350. It worked fine at first but after I adjusted the mixture, the throttle wounldn't completely retract back. When I unscrew the top off the carb it retracts like it is suppose to. Bad spring in the carb? Any help GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Welcome to the site.
Was the cable a factory part? Or after market? Did you lube it before installation? Is the spring in the carb damaged at all if you can tell or does it look fine?

It may be that the carburetor slide (the part that dangling from the cable when you unscrew the top of the carb and pull it out) may need to be rotated as it's lowered back in. It has to be turned a certain way. If not, it can stick when used.
