Default newbie here :] gotta question!!

well 1st off im new to the site!
2nd i have a quick question and anything help!
i just got a 83 honda odyssey for free and is in great shape has had maybe 15 hours of run time on it ever and runs flawlessly, even though i had to add a fuel cell cause the old fuel tank had some rust in it and didnt even want to risk it. so other than that i was curious on rear suspension. ive seen it done but no kpw tos or "easy" buttons! hah well if anybody has done it and has pics of the whole build let me know it would be appreciated! also what voltage does an odyssey run it? i would love to add some lights would led work since they dont have to run at 12 volts?
THNAKS
Jake

well i would take pics but my camera is MIA, i got it from a family freind who took it to oregon once then moved back to nevada and it sat still for 26 years! so the tires were shot no rust on the frame, they did roll it and tweaked the cage but other than that replaced the plug redid the plug wire and new gas after checking the top end and it fired up first pull, i did all that after dropping the main jet also sorry forgot to mention that, now i installed a new intake. but im still looking on how to do rear suspension there are pics of it after the fact but i need to see what they did to prep everything.

The 83s have a 12 volt system with, I believe, an output of 45 watts.

so that means i can run any light as long as its under 45 watts or equal to? also would it matter how many? i want to do a setup like a rock crawler where there is a light over each wheel to see its teavel and what not. also where would i wire it to? off the original headlight switch and wires or off the stator?

No, you need enough to power the ignition. I'm not sure how much is left for lights. I'd check the stock light's draw and work from there.

Pop a volt meter on the headlight wire and see whats its got that way.

Then head to the local autozone (or your fav local store) and get LED lights for the tires if you want those. The 83 Odesseys do not have much travel so I am not sure what you hope to see?

That will leave more power for the headlight and igniton which you really need for the most part.
