I cant speak for the krause chain.

But I can tell you what I have run and have seen run in the sand cars
zvx 530---good chain, does stretch
zzz 530---better then the zvx, less stretch and better longevity, good choice for busa rails, w/ a good adjustment system
530 drag chain---do not use in the sand. gets super hot and stretch/wears out fast.
630 drag chain---same as 530 just stronger and heavier
SO630---good chain, about zero stretch, lasted a full season and still good. I don't have a tensioner system on my car and havent adjusted my chain since installed back in March.

Can someone tell me if stretch is directly relative to tensile strength or is there more to it?

I am assuming based on your results that there is more to it because the zzz530 has a TS of 11,000 and the SO630 has 10,600 but doesn't seem to have any stretch. What gives?

Stretch is related to the bushing wear in the roller, The 630's have larger bushings and don't wear as fast even though they have a lower ultimate strength.

Gotcha, so it sounds like 630 is the way to go.

If your still looking for sprockets, you might give SIDEWINDER a call 1-630-513-1000. I talked to them today and they even had a 13tooth 530 front sprocket for my 600 in stock. Expensive though almost $70 a sprocket.

Tell me about the SO630, what brand and how much?

That same sprocket is about $25 through advanced precision products.....

Heres the page for the RK SO630 chain...

New Page 1

They also run a few bucks cheaper then the zzz530 in the same length.

Edit: I always use the clip style connecting link on mine.

That's the same chain I am running, hasn't worn at all during the test beatings.. I'm also using a clip type masterlink....that rivet style sucks IMO A 16 tooth (in a 630 size) on a Busa is gunna be about the biggest that can fit under stock cover I would think, mines a tight fit. Might be the same close fit on a 14, maybe why you're not coming up with one..

Makes sense. Fitment probably is the issue.
