You can remove the pair valves on the engine and install some block off plates....
I modded my own box. I basically removed the two air inlet tubes and the lower inlet manifold/plenium (area before air filter) and flapper valve and assembly inside the box. Basically what you left with is a direct flow into the filter. A good site of busa questions is SuzukiHayabusa.Org , its a really good site.
