If you run a stock dash and do not run the stock fuel pump your low fuel light will blink at you no biggie but it bug the s&*t out me. All you have to do is run a 100 ohms resister out of the dash to ground and the light will go out. I will get out all paper work and look it up but like I said it make me a day or two.

That's why there's a regulator used.A pump needs to have a higher dead head pressure than the engine requires in order to supply a stable fuel pressure to the injectors.

I misread his post, I thought he said he ran the 95 psi pump directly to the motor..

I would run 2 fuel filters . A 100 micron before the pump and 10 micron after.

ding, ding, ding, We might just have a winner! Thanks for the part number and info.
Is this the pump you are using?
Looks as if I went with this exact fuel pump I wouldn't need to run a external regulator??

your fuel pressure will affect your air fuel mixture, you really need a regulator regardless...

So how do I find out what the OEM spec is for Regulated pressure?
Another member on this thread posted that his earlier model motor already had a regulator built into the OEM fuel rail.

Does the fuel rail have the regulator built into it? If not then yes you'll need a regulator.
And yes that is what I'm using to run my 1397 busa motor. When I purchused it thou it was called a MSD high flow pump, right there after summit dropped the MSD and this unit appeared as its replacement. If you need a regulator then you can use a regulator from summit also #AEI-13301. This is also what I use. It works very well, just make sure you get an external fuel pressure gauge so you can make sure the fuel pressure is set right and doesn't drift on you.

Edit : I lied summit does offer the pump now...#MSD 2225 either one will work for you.
