Hi everyone I came accross this turbo for next to nothing it looks like a kk3? From an Audi or VW how can I determine if it is a size that is compatible with my Hayabusa? There is a tag with numbers and there are numbers stamped into the turbine housing. It appears to be very small I hope that is a plus with spool up time and maybe moderate boost levels?
Also if this is viable then is there someone who manufactures an air box? Do the velosity stacks stay the same? I'm kind of putting the cart before the horse until I'm certain I've figured out my chain issues. I'm testing new chains this weekend. Thanks everyone. |

Turbo Selection: A Guide to Understanding Flow Maps
Granted, getting flow map for your turbo might be a little difficult, but the info there should give you a reasonable understanding as to why the one you have is or isn't usable for your application. You may be able to reverse engineer the "map" by appreciating the flow numbers etc. from the engine it came from. |
