I'm an Amsoil dealer and they have have an oil rated for crotch rockets that I use

So what is the difference between the two oils, motorcycle and motor oil. Both are JASO rated and designed for motorcycles? Why would you imply that the regular syn. motor oil is inferior?

I don't recall any implication

This particular oil was developed for high revving engines and they also have on for those lazy thumpin twins

I often wondered.....But according to the bottle it's designed for it.
I have heard both sides of the story and have read many pages of threads and it seems to be a 50/50 split if motorcycle oils are really any different then a like rated motor oil. Maybe somebody on this forum knows the answer.

I do know one thing the motor absolutely runs smoother and shifts way better with the amsoil.....And I will not switch back to dyno(regular) oil....EVER.

I use amsoil fork oil and shock oil. I haven't used the amsoil mc oil.I didn't and still don't know if it's full synthetic.Is it? I use mobil 1 gold top full syn.Never had a bit of trouble.Are the specs similar?
