Default Alternative energy source-interesting

MMMMMMM
Spec say WOODGAS...
Al Gore can take his carbon footprint and RAM IT UP HIS ARSE...
I'm near completion of a wood powered generator to power my shop and houses electricity needs...as well as our cooking needs...
Here's my take on it...We as americans have become a nation of complainers...The united states didn't become the wold power by bending over and taking it in the brown eye, like we do now... Now is the time to take action ...time for debate is long past...time for action...The reason I say this is My grand parents lived through the great depression...my grandfather used to tell me I would see a depression 100 times worse than the one in the 30's he said there would be no money to spend and a loaf of bread would take a wheel barrow load of money to buy...was he right?
With that said...Jump into your big pig suv and put some debate and complaints in the tank...Me I'm gonna put some wood chips and junk pallett parts in mine...

i've been looking into fuel vaporizers.

Gas is not flammable, the vapor is, and the reason we have sh*ty emissions and such dirty motors and exhaust, is because we only burn some of the fuel, a lot is wasted. Running a vehicle on fuel vapor has next to zero emissions, and it a lot more efficient so you get a lot better mileage and a cleaner motor....(which is why propane, natural gas, wood gas, et. are so efficient, they run on a vapor)

Some people are building boxes with wick like material dipped in that soaks the fuel up, fans circulate the air, as well as heating the fuel to help it evaporate better, then you don't need jets, needles, floats, etc, you drive on the fumes.

There is a difference between vaporization and atomization, and cars work on atomization....

1st pic is the blower assemlby It needs to have a steel housing why? beats the crap outta me the fan is plastic...It is used to start the generator
2nd pic is the heart of the generator...it contains the fire tube wich needs to be size matched to the engine it will be suppling the fuel for... The pipe with the valve on it is the tar control...It's basically just a throttle to adjust the heat of the pyrolization zone...To cool and your fuel will be wet and tarry...engine destruction would be inevitable...Too hot and the unit overheats and burns off the fuel that it is supposed to be making
3rd pic is the hearth... The fire tube assembly gets flipped over and set into the hearth witch has to be all air tight...Keep in mind this unit is a down draft, so most of the air it gets needs to be sucked in from the top...Plus it runs off of the engines vacuum...

The early Corvette mechanical Bosch fuel injection did just that without the wick.

Interesting and I won't argue prices.

Now tell us about taxes in each country wherre prices are high, describe the subsidies where prices are low and most important plot the value of the dollar in relation to other currencies and the cost of oil.

Bottom line is that the value of the dollar is down against the Euro and other currencies, thus it takes more dollars to buy oil. Who to blame? US government fiscal and energy policy. Let's make it better by increasing tax rates to 59%!

What could possibly induce a country like Venezuela to sell gasoline for 12 cents per gallon? What about Saudi Arabia and Kuwait? Even Mexico subsidizes cost and some people in San Diego go there to buy fuel. Perhaps it is to keep the masses under control - or maybe the governments are cuddly.

You will see dramatic change soon. Harry Reid already told us that Petroleum and coal make us all sick. A presidential candidate said " . . gasoline prices rose too fast". . . meaning that they were not controlled by government. Interestingly that candidate is against producing more oil or shale or nuclear or anything that might reduce energy cost. He's for "change". The other candidate is an opportunist too but he's the best one running that might win.

Do you like driving a car? Do you like heating your home? How will you like paying a carbon tax? The european model is upon us so prepare to pay and pay and pay.

Socialism. Everything is "free" but at what cost?

Effing IDIOTS!
