Yamaha xj 900 in minirail? Will it work?
As stated above, I have a yamaha XJ 900 that is shaft drive. I read about the guy who wanted to shorten a ford 9" to use with c.v.'s for a rear end. I thought this was the only way but before I spend money on machine work, is a shaft drive mini buggy possible? How would yall go about fitting this motor to a rail? Does anyone have pics of one done up this way. I hate to sell it and buy a chaindrive motor as I only paid $100 for it and it makes pretty decent power.
P.S. I'm about to start work on a Sureshot 2 frame from prosand mini rails, if that helps any.
