Remember the guy I said was in SE kansas that develops crazy 2 smoke stuff?Talked to him today and he's finishing up on a drag sled engine program.1700cc triple-turbocharged @850hp.Pretty cool huh?He would not say who it was for. He's also working on a new design V4 2L 4 stroke twin turbo with integral tranny weighs approx. 160 lbs.with reverse targeting 900hp and 200lb ft tq.ESTIMATED PRICE $25,000 US.

Not that hard to belive. In there heyday 500CC gp bikes were making 180HP normally asperated.
The hard part when you get up in that HP range is the press together cranks. All the pins have to be welded and the cranks trued. They are non-rebuildable=$$$$$$$ |

900 hp and 200 # torque. That's one pipey monster. I'd like to see the dyno sheet on that one 'cuz stuff is gonna happen when it hits the curve.
Price competetive with a v-8 busa. Only the 'Busa lacks 540 hp. Interesting match - huge horsepower with one and vastly different torque curves. |

Built for sled drag racing.I'll be seeing him again in a couple weeks .I'll see if he'll let go of a dyno sheet.He says he can eaily down tune the V-4 4 stroke for a very reliable endurance use.
