the panther is designed for just that a kart. as are most of the parts greg sells not all just most, anyway 160 speedo doesnt mean anything, there are very few snow machines that will even see 140 and a 583 is definetly not one, also nothing wrong with cvt, but if you want to kick everyones ass on the trail, you need to go big, like rx1 etc...what year is the 583 again?

I plan to change some stuff around on the panther like making it a good bit wider as well as a double A arm rear suspension setup. To be honest I just got the plans for a basic outline on a buggy but I think I will build two stock with wider suspension and A arm rear for now. One thing I wish was included was a overall buggy drawing with demensions/ weight/ and engine choices.
The sled the motor was pulled from was a 96 Formula Z with Mach 1 twin pipes. Mike |

im not nocking anyone elses plans, but the rorty ones are worth the money, you may have to be a bit creative to keep affordable, but thats the funnest part... i think 1" is definetly way to small, i would go 1.25 x .095 min, .120 better i think ..
also the 96 motor i had 95 form z, 100 was tough that was stock sled tho, with mods you could make the engine really open up... dont be affraid to use it, but dont be affraid to loose once in a while either, you want sure thing busa is were you need to go, you want to have fun 583 good choice.... i am running a little gsxr 600 in my car.. |

The speedo came from a 91 Mach 1 with a 583 which is what the twin pipes came from. The engine is a 96 out of a Formula Z with 40mm carbs. Everything Im getting is from a Mach 1 other than the engine and carbs which are Formula Z parts. The reverse chaincase is from a Touring type sled.

Im not real sure where those plantations are but then again there are so many in the area it would be hard to remember all the names. Im *50 miles north of Tallahassee FL if that tells you anything.
On another note. I picked up a complete 2001 R6 Kart kit today for $650. I got from the radiator to the exhaust pipe. Mike |

Yeah I have heard of that place. Its up north of ATL about an hour. It would be about 4 hours drive for me up there. I almost moved to ATL and Duramtown is one of the pllaces I was going to ride MX. I have been racing/riding MX for a good 15 years and that was one of the first things I checked out before I was thinking about moving. LOL I busted my A$$ two weekends in a row back in Feb and have not been back on the bike due to injuries. Its cooling off and Im about to get back on it.
