Looks good. How many chain links did you gain leaning the RPM back?

With the old chain in for mock-up I get 28 plates. I may get a couple more when I set up the idler sproket. Not as long as I would like but should be ok for a pampered play toy.
Now I need to fix the seal around the FNR shifter. At the new angle it is leaking a bit. but I know I have too much gear oil in it right now.

Little more work done. Exhaust mocked up with a S&S YT-40 cut down a little. I added a RCI 5gal fuel cell to support the fuel injection. Did some beef-up on the trailing arms, and new brake lines.

Coming along nicely. Pipes look good and trailing arm modification looks strong.

Like Gene said - pipes and arms look really good.

There is one thing that sort of stands out to me and I'm not quite sure how I'd fix it.

The lower, front tranny mount - tubes coming out of the bottom frame rail with the mounting tab on the end. That's one big lever arm - there's nothing to combat it moving.

About the only way I can think of to modify it to make sure it doesn't move is put a couple of kickers between the rear cross brace and the ends of those tubes. That will shore everything up a little more. It's only a couple of short tubes, but it will box out that area a bit more.

It may be overkill, but with a chain drive, the last thing you want it to flex a mount and get the chain out of alignment. The poor thing's already abused just by virtue of only being a couple feet long, so anything you can do to combat any sort of flex and extra stress on the chain would be worth it.

K-fab, I see what you are saying.........That's why it's posted here. The gear box will want to move in the direction of the chain rotation under torque.
I will be looking into a couple of more tubes down there.
