Default mounting a CBR600RR motor to the frame

Hey, I have a chenowth which used to have a bug powertrain, but that blew up and Ive decided to put a 600RR one in instead of rebuilding. I was wondering would it be a decent idea (if possible) to chop off a few bits of the CBR's frame that I did not need then weld it to the frame then make some support bars? I thought of this because 1. the frame is pretty light and its hollow 2. I wont have to spend $$ on pipe and gas to fab up another solution. 3. Save time.
Maybe its blind optimism but I figured Id pass it through you guys anyway

Heres the buggy:

And heres what the frame looks like. All I need are the trans+motor mounts from it, not the top peices :

Any help is appreciated
Thanks
-Sebastian

How do you plan on welding the bike's frame to the chassis? Bike frame is aluminum, and I doubt that the chassis is.

Looks like an R1 or Busa would be a little more suitable for that size of a build....

It's easy to make motor mounts out of flat plate or tubing. I'd skip using the aluminim subframe other than gathering dimensions.

how well will that hold up offroad? also besides rubber bushings how could that be designed to minimize shock?

Thanks

Most of us hard mount the engine because we don't want it moving around affecting chain alignment.

I need to bring ny camera home to get some pictures of flat plate I had laser cut for my Hayabusa cylinder head. It's a keyed design and will work very well off road.

My first car (see Another Mini in Projects for Progress) uses 1.25 diamter tubing and mounting tabs. Works well.

I think it's an interesting concept. Wondering how you are going to connect the engine to the rear wheels? Chain drive and sprocket or an adapter to the Vdub trans? Doc

Why not just rebuild the engine? thats what I would do.
