Default gsxr 1000 fuel delivery

Hey guys I a 2002 gsxr 1000 motor in my buggy and currently have a plastic (polyethylene) fuel cell with the stock pump mounted into the bottom of it but, I'd like to switch it out to an aftermarket spun aluminum fuel tank. Wondering what parts i would need to swap it out and make it work correctly. I'm imagining all i need is an aftermarket high pressure fuel pump, Regulator to regulate it to the 43 psi i think stock ones run. Any help would be awesome thanks

yeah the way it works now is good it just leaks a very little around the gasket i made for the fuel pump. hmmm, i never thought about welding in a mount like you did for it.... i've always thought about figuring out how to actually mount a stock gsxr gas tank on it... i think that would look awesome

I actually had the stock fuel tank in mine at first and it did look cool its just a lot of wasted space. but the set up I have now looks good and is more fuel capacity and takes up very little room

I have a solution for you........ All that money you make and you still live at home you should go out and buy a custom fuel cell, hell you should be able to pay someone to work on that thing for ya

Ouch, good thing I left my feelings in my truck. Now is that anyway to talk to your boss, oh that's right I forgot you couldn't hack it with a real company . On a serious note you could just go get some Aluminum sheet metal and we could build you a custom tank, maybe even get it to sit lower. Or should i say i build you one, cause i know how your skills have been fading working out there. I guess i'll find out later in the week why you hacked the whole back half off the rail. But while you have all that apart, we might as well build you new a-arms all around out of real metal this time so you stop bending them. I have an 1 1/4" die for my bender now
