Hey Guys,
When I bought this motor, it wouldn't run at all. While I was cleaning the carb I found that the idle jet was clogged up. After I cleaned and reassembled, It runs. But, it still has quite a bit of trouble starting. After it starts it runs fine, but I dont like the fact that it takes 30 seconds to start it. Let me know what you think. EDIT: Carb is a CV. Cams look good. oil possibly had another fluid in it. Hope this helps. -Jay ![]() Last edited by JaySea20; 06-19-2009 at 02:47 AM. |

Thanks for the input guys. I think that I found the problem. The choke did not have a cable on it. When I rigged an choke cable and solenoid up, and sealed it, it starts fine.
choke on a switch. it's pretty cool, for a noob. lol Thanks. -Jay ![]() Last edited by JaySea20; 06-21-2009 at 02:28 AM. |
