Holy Crap!!!

I feel this thread should have been locked right after the very first post.
There should be NO discussion after it but you boys just can't let things go or or leave well enough alone. *

Does anyone understand the phrase "Let sleeping dogs lie"?
If not, I believe that you need to go do a bit of research, learn what it means and then follow that suggestion.

I had no intention of making a post in this ridiculous thread but in response to the many PM's I have received:

It's really, really simple:
NOBODY WILL CAUSE ANYBODY ELSE TO BE BANNED.
NOBODY WILL GET SOMEONE BANNED.
You must EARN being banned.

The ONLY way you will get banned is by being a total knob and then not listening to warnings handed out by the Admin and/or Mods. *If you've not received a pm from the admin saying "watch yourself", then you have nothing to worry about.

The banning process isn't a sword that's swung at random.
It's a process that takes a vote from the entire staff and it's a long, drawn out process.
Fairness on our part and what we feel is the good of this board is our main focus and what drives our decisions.

So, ENOUGH OF THIS CRAP.

Anyone that has the need or urge to biatch
Anyone that has the need or urge to argue
Anyone that has the need or urge to attack another's way of doing things, way of conducting themselves or way of building things needs to KEEP IT TO THEMSELVES AND OFF OF THIS BOARD!!!

If you're coming here with a bad attitude, go crawl back under your rock.
If you have a burr up your butt, go get the tweezers and pull it out.

I don't want, nor expect, this site to be a happy 'My Little Pony' land where everything is syrupy sweet, but I sure expect a bunch of adults (especially the handful that can't seem to get along right now) to act like adults.
You guys should have gotten past the 7th grade school yard crap years ago.

Go to a thread you can actively and positively participate in and do so, but if you can't do this, then take a couple days off from the site, get a change of attitude and come back with a different approach.

K-fab, I agree with something you said in there a lot, this topic shouldn't have been open for discussion. *How about deleting every single post except Amergins first one, and locking the topic. *Or if it's easier, copy the first post by Amergin, then delete this whole thread and start another topic with the same name and lock it, make it a sticky on the top of the page so everyone can read it, but no one can respond. Is there a way to make it a sticky on the top of the page where all the new topics show up? *That way it will always be visible, maybe have 7 recent topics instead of 6........

I just reread this topic.It occurred while I was banned for IMO standing up to the few that were at the time posting "info"(BS) without credible proof that their info was correct nor caring if it was.YES I was being a dick about it.So were others.But you know what, after my ban I became a moderator! Seems to me that those that banned me later came to realize that I was not wrong in my beliefs only in how I presented them .THe admins and staff saw the BS continuing after I was gone.Who continued to stir the pot? We all know it was 2 people and who they were just by rereading this topic.I took some undeserved shots in it as did others .If I had not pissed off several of the admins /members where would we be now? My belief is we'd still be swimming in mis information and 1/2 truths and some outright BS. What we have accomplished since that time is having a site that is back on track.This site provides the most accurate buggy building info of any. There is no comparison.Will I again push the limits? YES,if the site ever again becomes a cheerleading site for a special few.Would I run the risk of another ban? YES if the cause were right as it was the first time.Will I or any of the staff allow it to get to the point it got then?Nope,we are currently a staff of people with high regard for members rights and a vision of how the site should be.Fair and equal treatment for all.Amergin has put great effort into this site and I thank him VERY MUCH for it.It's been about a year since I was banned and the site IMO has improved greatly. I only reply to this topic now since I saw a guest was reading it and feel that future readers/guests need to see that this site is not the same as 1 year ago. fabr
