People please, read a thread and think before posting. If you are upset at something someone said stop, take a break and compose a response at a later time. By then you may just have a whole new perspective on what was said.
I hate to say it Rusty but your post reveals a definite bias. *Bob's post could have been about any 3 troublemakers, but it wasn't--it was about the three he named, Yoshi being one of them.

My point is, be above this. Raise a complaint to the mods and admins and let us deal with it. Continuing the argument doesn't solve anything what's so ever. Your name was called I'm sure because you are in the middle of this stuff time and time again. Defending yourself? Maybe, you should stand by your product. Simply post why you used or designed something for a specific reason and leave it at that. Rise above the constant slam and acknowledge respectful request and respond in a respectful manner. You also know full well that any non factual claims will be scrutinized by the diehards on this site. So if you say something someone is going to ask how, what, when and where.

Tired and tipsy right now so all this may come out wrong. It’s hard to keep a coherent thought long at this point.

I agree, and I do stand by my product which is why it gets so heated sometimes. *Some people are just not satisfied with my reply if they think I am wrong (and I think it is more of a personal thing than a factual thing), so they keep after it, and then it turns into quite the argument. *I actually have no problem with people disagreeing with me and admitting when I am wrong, I just prefer people to talk to me the way they would like to be talked, so when someone replies to something I said, and has facts or reliable info to back up why I am wrong, and they don't come at me calling me a liar, I don't get so defensive and admit when I am wrong, just like the MPH topic the other day. *Someone said I was wrong, and gave good info to why, and I was quick to realize I was incorrect and made the correction to my info, but it took a few pages of someone being rather rude in why they said i was wrong, and had nothing to support their claim, before the right person was constructive and had something to back up what they were saying.

And I did rise above the constant slams by saying I would not be replying to the 3 members that always argued with me, I wasn't gonna reply to what Rorty said either, but I feel what he said was way outta line and said so, not to him, and not being negative to him, just stating facts and quoting what he said to me..

I'm for it. Anyone ever look at the statistics page? Its a cool feature of this site.

I know I, and several other new people I spread the word too, left another board after the constant threads just hacking each other to bits. Its a problem on all sites, I think this one does a decent job of locking down, and editing threads. Of course theres always a bias in editing. But like I tell my employee's, thats the perk of being the boss. Getting to be bias * Great to see the owner of this board at least making an effort to save it. The "other" board I was on, now gets a post or two a week, used to be several a day.

One question, will bans just effect posting, or private messages also?

Actually, the way i remember it ,Sean exaggerates to much, try's to sale to hard, and is too longwinded in his posts. (i don,t like the way he shamelessly blathers on)Then a member attacked him then it seemed like everybody did too. Yoshi is often attacked by two of the members, ALWAYS THE SAME TWO, and when he responds ,as anyone would, the posts run on for days, a waste of space and a turn off for most everyone else. If it was me and someone talked to me like that ,the fight would be on. *The main problems here is that a certain few have to have their say,no matter what, some people just spew acid commets about others. They think its their job to guard this site and are mixed up in every conflict. There are ways and there are ways, many ways to design and build a buggy Why do some of you insist that you are the only one who knows the correct way. Some buggy's are ugly and need to have their overall looks taken into concideration before the design is sold. If someone doesn't believe something or doubts someone then ask for more infomation, Ask as if you were face to face and you didn't want a bloody nose, if everyone did this we wouldn't be haveing these problems now. In the past when we were haveing this stuff going on, this one member was off the site for a while, i don't remember why he was off, but our site smoothed out, and cleared up, till he came back.

As one of the unmentioned trouble maker's...I have been trying to keep my mouth shut thru all of this...
I saw this coming several months ago...when we had a huge influx of 1st time posters selling stuff, an self promoting... and then came the guys who have flashing banners that lead to their web sites... Whenever there is a huge influx of competition or perceived competition...tempers flare and thing tend to get emotional...kinda like a shark feeding frenzy...claims get made trying to show that mines still the best...maybe done in good faith looking at the spec sheet but not entirely factual in the real world...What do I care about what the SAND CAR guy's say/claim...I don't... I live in minnesota there isn't a real sand dune within 1200 miles from me...But I have learned and used some of their technology and incorporated it into my buggies
I have been a member for almost 2 years...I don't consider my self this sites watchdog, I do however have some people I like to think are my freinds...
and alot of others I would like to get to know better so I could call them freind as well...But I do know when I get on the DAMN PAINKILLERS I jekyl and hyde...and that makes it touph sometimes to make new freinds...I guess what I'm trying to say is this...We are having growing pains...and there will be resistance to changes...But I'll leave the sand salesmen alone...
BTW... I really would like to get a micro league nation wide started..so alot kfab more people who don't have 30grand to tie up in a buggy can enjoy the things that we love so much.....R

I have to agree with Yoshi, When I saw Rorty's post last night I couldn't believe it.
He jumps right in and starts it up again? After all that was said in the first post?
Unbelievable.

I tend to be a little more outspoken on the build for sale guys due to the fact that they are selling something. If your going to post up here and get free advertising then you should be prepared for a little criticism of things I think could be better. If your a guy in his garage having trouble or about to make a mistake, I am more than willing to help out with ideas or cad files or whatever. Having been in the off road biz as long as I have, I can pretty well look at something and tell if it's going to work or not. When I voice dislikes about something theres usually a reason behind it other than I don't like it. Other than Yoshi's cars styling features.

lol,..I never expected everyone to like my design, every company, no matter how long they have been in business, how good of a reputation they have, or how many people have bought their vehicles and love the way they look, will always have people that don't like the looks. *It is impossible to make everyone happy, so I fully expect there to be people that do not like my lines at all, even had it referred to as a stink bug once, lol....

I myself dont support half ass tested products sale to the public,I dont support misrepresentation to sell something either, I will never change and do not plan on it any time soon, If someone here., I dont care who it is, misrepresents there products, I will call them out on it, Ill stick to the point *and leave it at that, I rarely carry out the bs for days on end... And i will not pussy foot around like were doing here, Ill say your name...I *If being banned for that is the recourse, My days are numbered....I will stay out of the shit fests, As far as the bs about people not posting and calling yoshi, I guess thats there problem, I know of at least 10 guys that are sick of the so called expert advice as well, seems that there stuff isnt good because it doesnt cost 30 k....Like i said before, Im not living in my shop to have a 40k rail.....

Yrs of testing is not accomplished by owning something for yrs, You have to run it more than 20 laps 10 times a yr at the local 1/2 mile track. Sitting in the garage does not qualify as testing.
