Default RUDE POST and OTHER CWAP

Spent the last several hours reading post and catching up. I've noticed and have been contacted about some of the more disturbing post. Rather then single anyone out, I'm going to ask everyone to please read your own post before submitting it. If you read the post and would take offense to it then rewrite it. There is no reason to be rude to others on this site. Everyone here is bringing a lot of knowledge and experience from various areas of this industry. Debate the subject or view point rather then attacking other members.

MODS you have the power to edit, delete and ban a member that gets out of control. This site is dedicated to fabrication of the toys we all love. There is no room for an internet word match or bash session.

Thank you all for your time and contribution to the site...

Rusty

There was one thread that I thought needed to be addressed. Overall this is one happy place with great ideas and information being tossed about.

Default TIME TO REITERATE THIS POST

This message is to revitalize our Leader's desire to keep this forum available for our use and benefit. This forum is Rusty's house.

Even as members we are really GUESTS in this environment. In the last few weeks some posts have been disgraceful, stupid, moronic, hateful, spiteful - and on and on.

It is going to stop. The MODS have been empowered to kick members out of Rusty's house.

Where I work, it is really hard to get fired. Those that do - FIRE THEMSELVES through their stupid behavior.

Thank you,
Gene - for Diirk, K-Fab and Amergin

actually, i agree. i havent posted but once since there were several folks on here rather rude to me. i didnt need it and i will not put up with it. i think this is a great site and i love reading the articles and post by the builders. i was involved with the cheaper chinese buggys but i had an interest in the high powered buggys and this site really helped. so, i hope the rudeness and stupidity will cease. there is no sense in all that.
thank you.

Hey,
I feel that you probably didn't get the responce that you were looking for I looked at your machines and the videos, maybe you could have done some things different, maybe worded some things different... I think that your machine has some exellent qualities, and some of the PREMIER builders on this sight thought so as well, I feel for you and I think with some changes in design and a different power plant you might have a decent machine.... Please keep this in mind...Most of the people in this club are americans we work in america.... MAYBE YOU SHOULD CONSIDER BUILDING AS MUCH, OR ALL OF IT HERE...sorry but thats how I feel, I know 99% of our power plants come from japan but I think everybody knows what i'm saying

thanks. i wasnt really expecting any type of a response. just didnt expect the response i did get. the Stinger, and i am saying this so all will know, not a sales pitch, was designed by two(2) structural engineers. one an ex engineer for a auto company and the other a steel mill. the engine was chosen for it's merits of longlivity, power and torque, and ease of maintenance. if you have the low end torque, getting the speed is easy. same principle as the diesel trucks. they dont rev hight, but you can get some serious speed with the gearing. and still have the torque. but, our performance dept is designing more and options for the kohler engines. from cams to roller rockers to 2bbl intakes and carbs. we're young, but soon, we'll be with the big boys at a fraction of the cost. and this is no sales pitch. thanks for all that have replied. i appreiate it. 8)
