Default How to migrate old bookmarks to new site?

Any tips? I've pasted the thread numbers into the new format, and get an invalid page.

Here is an example of an old link...
http://minibuggy.net/viewtopic.php?p=5732#5732

This is what the new non-seo friendly links look like (this thread):
How to migrate old bookmarks to new site?
(the forum automatically replaces the address with the link.)

I tried replacing the thread number 159892 with the 5732, but it doesn't like it. I tried changing the seo-friendly link, and it won't work, either.

Huh...

I've been sitting here futzing around with the link and I can't get anywhere either.
I end up getting this:

What you are looking for was not found
Woops! Not found.
Due to the recent migration from phpBB to vBulletin some of the old links no longer work. What you where looking for is still here on MBN. Please utilize the search option or ask in the forums for assistance.

Interesting. I'm sitting here thinking out loud and typing as I do, so if this seems a bit off, well, it is! Maybe something I say will jive with an idea you may have.

The link is a view topic link - so I wonder, is that one of the forum topics? If so, which one?

I say this because of the way that a post that's been made ends up being called out - example would be the most recent post - "http://www.minibuggy.net/forum/projects-progress/9662-mini-truggy-tk-build.html#post159891" The link follows forum, then projects, etc - laid out in an expanding tree, with each branch being called.

The link you posted is a view topic post - where did that link come from? If we can figure out what the 5732 is pointing at, that may work. Just have to find the right set of branches, maybe. Might try going to a forum and then throwing 5732 into one of the post's url.

Anyone else have any ideas?

That 5732 post was just a link I'd saved. I renamed most of my bookmarks from the old site because the old names were hugely long (starting with the forum name, then thread etc...) and often the post I was interested in wasn't described by the original topic post. In this instance, my book mark is...
930 cv or toyota u-joint

Of course, I don't remember why I saved it (other than to assume it's regarding axles), and can no longer view it to see why. A search for toyota 930 turns up too many results to weed through them.

I've got over a dozen bookmarks from the old site. A quick conversion tip would be great! (Where is Rusty when you need him...)

But that only is about 8% helpful... most of my old bookmarks are for individual posts, not threads.
