    I came across this PHP program for printing your own wraps for tube notches. Print cut wrap trace cut. I just use my notcher but this would be useful to me when the notches exceed 50-60 degrees that most notchers can't do. When they get real laid out like that it can be a pain. Something to do at work and then save you some time when you get home!

    Bend-tech pro allows that direct from the program.

    Not that I know of. Yo u might want to pose that question @ offroadfab.net Bend tech is an owner and admin there and will answer all your questions happily.

    Ahh yes, I remember comments from some Bendtech guy once....

    Standfast You should be able to do that in Solidworks. I have to say it is the one major 3D modeler that I haven't used. Turn the tube into sheetmetal, rip it and then unwrap it. I hear Solidworks has one of the best sheetmetal packages

    It was very handy for notching tubes to intersect bends and for multiple notches intersecting one another in the same tube.

    Bend-tech is just now coming out with a program the works with SW.You might want to try that also.

    Yes but this is free and that is nearly $300.

    I know I can do it in solid works. I figured this might help someone else who doesn't want to learn solidworks to get a notch template.

    For simple stuff it is great and free. Notching was by far the most fustrating and time intensive part.

    Yeah but the BT stuff comes with a free bending software package with it's tube coping stuff! LOL!!!
