Looks like your spining too much? Maybe gear a bit lower to put a little drag on the motor?

Now maybe i misunderstood what you were saying, if your talking letting the cvt shift out slower. I could see that....

Thanks for the vid Bug.It's great!Watched it ten times.
Gives me something to chew on while I'm waiting for mine to arrive in Australia.
Your's a 600 right?(597)
Should be here in a couple of weeks...I hope.
I would be trying a taller tyre, all that wheelspin is resulting in robbed forward motion, from takeoff,to mid and beyond. What tyre pressures you running?
Keep em coming...Baz

Actually I was saying it needs to shift out a touch faster. It sounds/appears to be staying to low. Maybe loosen up the driven spring 1 hole and/or a lighter drive spring or a heavier arm?

I was thinking not enough tire back there, are you close to redline the whole way?

I'm thinking the same thing.Whatever,it needs to pull the engine back towards peak torque rpms for the first half or so of the track to get you moving well before shifting out further and using the high rpm torque(HP) to get mph. In effect you are doing the same thing with a cvt that we drag boys do with a torque converter.Leave the line at peak torque with the proper tc(cvt clutching) and you will ride that rpm for quite a ways while the tc(cvt) catches up and then the above peak torque rpms torque (hp) pulls the mph out for the finish.

A Heel Clicker kit will allow you to tune the engine to upshift early on as hard as the engine can handle yet keep it from shifting so fast as to bog the engine out. Olav Aaen's clutch tuning manual states that more weight and more spring load balanced together will keep the clutch in a tighter RPM range versus lighter springs and weights. The Heel Clicker kit comes with long springs giving significant pre-load and special arms that add significant effective weight at low speeds. So in short, the kit improves the operating efficiency of the clutch at low speeds and mid speeds.

An FL350 with Heel Clickers installed in a Comet 102C clutch:

There's definitely a lot more potential in your sand rail.
